The President of the National Assembly, the Honorable Dama Dramani opened on Tuesday November 04, 2015 in Lomé, the work of an awareness-raising workshop which is part of the strengthening and consolidation of the regional integration process of the Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and its popularization.
The initiative comes from the Permanent Representation of ECOWAS in Togo, under the aegis of the National Assembly and the Togolese government. For two days, parliamentarians, representatives of ministries, civil society and media professionals were sufficiently equipped on the various sites of ECOWAS. It is also about getting participants to take ownership of community texts, with a view to their accelerated ratification and effective application.
